Mothering Sunday Gift Ideas – The Chalk Mug

mug for chalk

Now you know me – I’m a sucker for a nice mug. But I admit I’ve never really been keen on chalk board mugs, which always look either a bit plain or a bit messy in the pictures I’ve seen.

But then those sneaky sneakers at Firebox sent me one for my very own self this week.

And I totally LOVE it!

Most importantly, it feels nice in the hands – it’s a good size, and silky smooth to touch.

And naturally, get that stick of chalk in your hand and it totally comes into its own!

It’s supposed to be safe for 250 dishwashers cycles, but I’m playing it safe and keeping it in the hand wash only pile.

And in all honesty – that little message on there made me grin hugely when I opened the box. I guarantee a small person’s scribble on a mug presented to you on Sunday will spread a huge smile on your own face…

You could have a chalk board mug of your very own for a stick under £6 over at Firebox (and yes, they do have Express deliuevery, so there’s still time).

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
