Bestest Christmas Gift Guide – the Food Hamper

christmas hamperHampers – I used to think they were a bit if a dull present. It seemed to say “actually, I have no idea what you like, so here’s a bunch of random ‘stuff’ “.

But as I grow older (*sigh*), I actually ‘get’ it. I do.

Because sometimes, a nice presented basket of yummy food and drink feels more ‘spoiling’. Curling up by the fire on a dark evening and remembering that actually, yes you DO have some delicious biscuits and posh chocolates just over there. And why yes, a nice glass of Shiraz to go with it would be dandy, thank you.

Because I find that as people get older, they just get harder to buy for. And Elderly relatives and far-flung siblings will probably enjoy a nice hamper of goodies as much as anything – and it’s certainly a whole heap nicer to unwrap than an Amazon voucher.

This Season’s Greetings Hamper from Interflora is fab – a really great range of treaty-delights, from luxury Biscuits & Chocs to chutneys and delicious crisps – and a rather lush bottle of Red. Everything’s nicely Christmas themed, too.

Being Interflora you know it’ll get there fast, be beautifully presented, and is a very quick and easy scratchmark on your Christmas Gift Buying List.

The Seasons’ Greeting Hamper is a straw under £50, but there are items from under £20 on their Christmas Hampers page (LOVE the Christmas chocolate cracker idea!).

A 70's child, I’ve been married for a Very Long Time, and appear to have made four children, and collected one large and useless dog along the way. I work, I have four children, I have a dog… ergo, I do not do dusting or ironing. I began LittleStuff back in (gulp) 2004. I like huge mugs of tea. And Coffee. And Cake. And a steaming cone of crispy fresh fluffy chips, smothered in salt and vinegar. #healthyeater When I grow up I am going to be quietly graceful, organised and wear lipstick every day. In the meantime I *may* have a slight butterfly-brain issue.
