Oh, I LOVE Charlie & Lola! Thankfully, Ella does too, so I have an excuse to watch it occasionally… Best of all, the merchandise surrounding the television show has been carefully thought about, and all bears the sweet, simple and amusing style of the original books.

This Charlie & Lola writing set is just so perfect – in an age where the art of handwriting letters is dying out, parents often forget that children still do like to write and illustrate letters (and oh my do grandparents love to receive them) – and what better incentive than this achingly sweet set with paper, envelopes AND stickers – all in that delicious folder? And if the boys are not feelin’ the elephant love, there’s always the Space version. £4.60 – how can you not?
