Okay, this weeks Blog Love is unashamedly for ME. As a fellow mother of four, I love Four Down, Mum to go?, and often read it with a nod and a warm feeling of sisterhood.

This weeks post, as usual, is warm and insightful, funny, and gave me the familiar nod of the head – but this time I thought I’d share it.

It’s not that I’m on a Big Family’s Best campaign or anything – I not only realise how incredibly lucky I am to have had four healthy babies, but also that the very thought of four of them would fill many people with horror. What I don’t like is some peoples presumption that I am in some way less of a mother because I have bred this hoard of children.

Family is family, yes? Whatever way you choose to grow yours, its all important. And according to a quick poll of all my 30- and 40-something friends not one of us will really get it right.

Do read this weeks fourdownmumtogo post – but make sure you keep scrolling and read more too, it’s well worth your cup of coffee, honest. Maybe even a good time for a hobnob too (without the chocolate – we are, after all, trying to be good).
