M&P Berry Rag Doll :)

Well, after a serious hunt, I have finally managed to spot a lovely doll for the Ella-bella. Who knew I was so fussy about dolls? Having three boys its never seriously troubled me before – they don’t have wheels or teeth, ergo they are dull toys, apparently.
BUT. A small girl needs at least one lovely doll in her cot, yes?
And so the Great Doll Hunt began. I wanted nothing plastic. Nothing with a freaky face. Nothing with nasty synthetic hair.
Not fussy at all. no no no.
Then I had a mail from Mamas & Papas, asking if Ella would like to have a look at their Berry Rag Doll. Well, happy to give her a go, I said yes – from the look sof the image she’s pretty close to perfect.

Prima Papa Highchair Competition Winner!

A few months ago we ran a competition to win a Mamas and Papas Prima Pappa highchair, which we had just reviewed.
I was really happy this morning to receive an email from the winner, Karen, with a picture of her son Ethan making good use of his prize.
It’s always so brilliant knowing that the prizes go to homes where they’ll get loads of use. And even better when happy readers take the trouble to talk to us – makes us very smiley :)

Blankie Bear Review

Blankie Bear by Gagagoogoo® is the brainchild of Mark and Louise Sinclair. Mark saw children dragging round their ‘blankie’s’ and was convinced that there must be another way of creating a comforter that would be more hygienic, but that could also grow with the child and so Blankie Bear was born. These amazing comforters are fully washable, suitable from birth and for sensitive skins. They are made from luxuriously soft materials that a baby and child will love forever.

The blanket is made up of 2 layers – a soft jersey underneath with luxurious velboa on top. The teddy part of Blankie Bear is also made of velboa which is suitable for sensitive skins, and has a lovely squishy filling – perfect for cuddling. Blankie Bear has been made to exceed all safety standards and is completely safe to give to a baby and is also fully washable. Blankie Bear by Gagagoogoo is the ultimate blanket comforter for any child, not only can they snuggle into the soft blanket they also have a lovely friendly teddy to play with.

Blankie Bear’s unique patent pending design means that there is never a need to ‘wean’ children off this comforter. In the early stages a baby will love to use the comfort blanket, then as they grow Blankie Bear becomes a constant companion. In fact independant children will love to ‘transform’ Blankie Bear themselves.

Totes childrens slippers Review

Ok, so we all know Totes. We’ve probably all had their ‘Toasties’ at some point or even perhaps an umbrella or two. I know as kids I has the ‘Toasties’ and wore them to bed as I loved them so much.

So when Littlestuff asked if Matthew (now a grand old age of 1!) would like to review Totes ‘Padders’ I jumped at the chance.

First impressions when they arrived? Awwwh they’re gorgeous! 2 little giraffe slippers with little flappy ears and everything.

I put them on Matthews feet and he just giggled, then tried to cuddle his feet!

They have been worn every day since they arrived and are proving a huge hit with all manner of people.

I love them as they don’t make his feet sweat like the little leather pull on shoes he has. They are very plush, yet not fluffy, so no little bits of yellow left on my suit when I drop him at nursery.

Nursery love them as they know that even if they get dirty when he crawls round the garden, they can go straight in the washing machine. They also make great finger puppets to entertain the children!

Matthew loves them as they have the wonderful Totes grip on the bottom, that give him the confidence to walk on our super slidey oak floors.

Do you get the impression we like them?

Certainly a must for the Christmas stocking this year. Matthew shall definitely be getting another pair, and the great thing is, they go up to age 18months, so he can still wear them as slippers once he’s actually into big boy shoes.

Available direct from Totes at a mere £10 a pair.
